Born to witch Parents Addison and Jaxon Lake, Maddox was their second child - being born when her brother Ozzy was six years old, and was showing signs of being a great witch in the making, which, lead them to think Maddox would be following in his footsteps. So from the moment that she was born, Maddox had this expectation to be a great witch - then. When she was 3 years old, and no power was showing itself - Maddox was already being looked at as if they were a failure to the family - not that her parents voiced this. They did however clearly favour Ozzy.Maddox had a best friend, Ethan, who was her next door neighbour, and he had helped her feel welcomed. School went pretty average for her, getting passing marks and getting into high school well managing to get into the same one as Ethan. When Maddox was thirteen, she woke up to feeling like her mouth was on fire and went to go wake up her brother, knowing better than to disturb their parents, as in the past, they’ve ignored their cries for help in favour of Ozzy’s achievements. Ozzy worried about his sister, woke up their parents despite Maddox’s protests. When they were starting to complain about being woken up, Maddox screamed, ‘My mouth is on fire’ before a huge flame flew out of her mouth, and it nearly set the house on fire if it weren’t for her mother putting out the fire with the water next to the bed.Despite the development of their powers, Maddox still wasn’t treated any different, Ozzy was still favoured due to Maddox being a late bloomer. Slowly over the years, her other powers started showing themselves - but she never shared them with her parents, for they wouldn’t care.At fifteen, Maddox started modelling, and easily found themselves with an agent and loving it. Having small gigs here and there. At the start, it was simple stuff, and helping people out. After turning 18, Maddox started doing more ‘risque’ photoshoots, and found fun in lingerie shoots - and started working towards finding people that they like. By the time she is 21, she has been offered a new job and to move to America from her home country of New Zealand, and she takes it. Middle class, raising until his parents died just shy of his 18th birthdayBetween 19 - 21, he dated a girl named, Noelle of whom they had been friends with since they were 15, who was a witch. She wanted to achieve immortality, and being deeply in love with her, Ash agreed to let himself be the one she experimented on - which resulted in a lot of trips to the hospital due to near poisoning that nearly killed him. He’d tell the doctors that he must have eaten at a bad place, not noticing the worried glances and concerned looks they’d give him, when it was clear they didn’t believe his stories and that he was covering up for someone ( Noelle )Things came to a head, when Noelle claimed she had it right, he drank the potion. As no effects happened within two hours, they thought it was right and that Ash was now immortal. Unknown to Ash, Noelle wanted to test this out - so the next day, giving the potion 24 hours to set in, Noelle stabbed Ash when he walked into their apartment after getting home from work. She had stabbed him twenty times in his abdomen.He died of blood loss. Noelle spent two days with his dead body in the middle of the hallway, and he watched as she did nothing. He screamed at her, telling her to call an ambulance, anything yet she didn’t call the cops, didn’t cry - anything. After forty eight hours, she started to pack her things, before seemingly fleeing the apartment, without a spare glance to Ash.After she had left, he felt his ghost pull itself back to their body. That his ghost now inhabited his body, being back in his body felt weird, though his wounds started to heal, but not enough and Ash took themself to the nearby ER, stating that their girlfriend had done this, and he tried to get by. He refused to press charges though, saying she fled the scene, he doubts she’d be back.The thing was, he didn’t feel right - that his soul didn’t go back into his body correctly, and he doesn’t believe she was right. He’s not immortal, just that now - his ghost clings to his body, keeping it alive enough to not worry doctors. He can actually separate the two, drop his body and walk around in just his ghost form.He has learnt over the years what he can and can’t do. He can walk through walls in both forms ghost and ‘alive’ ( so long as he activates his intangibility )So living with being a ghost, yet alive, Ash is trying to live his life to his best ability, especially when he doesn’t know if the next time he does anything, if he won’t just straight up die for good.

THE SPELL Noelle was a witch, and Ash had always known this - it was something that Noelle had told Ash when they were friends. Noelle had been working on trying to find immortality, and how it worked. Or if it could be achieved - this was a family goal, something that everyone in her family has being trying to get, to be the first one to discover it. Before Ash and Noelle started dating, Noelle had gone on a family vacation to a place known in the witch community that was rumoured to hold the secret to finding immortality. Noelle found it, or at least, she found a script that she believed told her that giving a loved one this potion, before killing them will grant you immortality - as the loved ones life will be transferred to your own. What Noelle didn't realise, was that she had to be in love with the person and to be in actual love with the person - and that, she had to do it every time when her life span was coming to an end or she found love again. That, she would have to find love multiple times in life, and kill them. The potion and spell was designed so no one would ever become immortal, because by killing someone you lose your humanity, especially someone you love.Since Noelle didn't realise the extent to which the script had meant for her to do, she just scribbled down the ingredients and the words she needed to utter, before heading back home with her family. Then, two weeks later, she asked out Ash. Three months later, she tells him about trying to find the key to immorality, and a month later - she's started giving him the potion. Trying to get the correct ingredients, trying substitutes, and even using actual poison within the potion.Noelle never realised that the potion was formed to protect the lover, especially if the lover was in love with the person who was trying to kill them. That, the potion would serve as a defence mechanism to any form of poisoned death. forcing the person who wants to be immortal to either stop or use an external force.So, since every time Ash drank the potion, Noelle poisoned him or put sunflower seeds ( something he's allergic too ) in it - it made him scum to a form of allergic reaction or food poisoning symptoms. After the fifteenth time, Noelle decided she had to physically kill him, so the next one, she didn't put any poison in nor any sunflower seeds, nor did she feed him some after. She waited out a day, giving Ash the false sense of security that it had worked before grabbing the kitchen knife and stabbing him twenty times in his abdomen. Noelle had waited out forty eight hours, before leaving Ash's dead body on the ground. Thinking that she was now immortal ; but the thing is - she isn't.Because Noelle was never in love with Ash, because she only dated him to kill him - that the love was one sided, she could not achieve immortality, even through the script. The script protected Ash's soul, letting it stay in the realm of the living until Noelle left, until the danger left before guiding Ash's soul back to his body, while also giving Ash powers to defend himself.The script was made long ago by a Witch who feared people searching immortality, so she made up a spell and potion, crafted this whole thing to deter witches away from seeking it out upon finding out you had to kill to achieve it. The spell, invokes the Witch's spirit to watch over the lover of the caster, and the potion was always a protection one.

Storm was born into a wealthy family, and one would think that with that and the way Storm wasn’t presenting himself the way his family was he’d be the black sheep of the family - but, he wasn’t. At least, not in his parents eyes. His parents have always encouraged both of their children to be who they are, and to be open and honest with them - and, so Storm felt safe exploring new music, felt safe telling his parents he didn’t like his legal name and call him Storm by the time he was ten years old. Growing up, Phoenix has always known he had to be the perfect little boy that his parents wanted him to be. ‘No you can’t eat that, it’s too fattening’ His mother would scold him as she threw it away, while his father put his fists to his body to teach him a lesson. His parents put him on the soccer team, wanting him to do sports and told him that when he can, that he’s doing track. They wanted an athlete for a son. So, they controlled what he ate, they didn’t want him eating too much. Everything he ate was monitored and he had to write it down.When he was caught eating something he wasn’t supposed to, it resulted in his father hitting him. He hated it, and this resulted in Phoenix having a real bad relationship with food, which developed into an eating disorder later in life.Nine years old, and his parents had another child - Angel they named him, and Phoenix vowed that Angel will never feel the same pressure he did. But, it seemed that they weren’t too keen on restricting food with Angel, and some part of him wondered why that was. When Angel was five years old, was the first time that their father raised their hand to Angel, but Phoenix stepped in.Phoenix took any of Angel’s beatings, which were few and far between. 16 years old, and he got his worst beating - after his parents heard about the ‘rumour’ that Phoenix was seen kissing a guy from choir. He didn’t have time to deny it, his parents took it as word and threatened to kick him out if they heard of anything like that again.Two weeks later, Phoenix attempted suicide, only to be saved and put on a watch until he was deemed well enough to re-enter the world.That is when he started planning his escape, an escape that he can’t make with Angel. As much as he would love to take Angel with him, he just couldn’t get away with it. Angel was too young, and his parents had money and influence - they would win against him.So, the night before Phoenix left for college, he spent time with Angel - letting him know that he will always be with him, even if not physically.

Then, Phoenix never looked back, his parents blocked on everything - and he only answered known numbers. When Angel was twelve, he ran away from home and the only reason that Phoenix found out was because cops came to his door, asking if he knew an Angel Hastner.According to the cops, Angel had been on his way to find Phoenix when an older man offered him a ride, only to take his life.This caused a massive depressive episode within Phoenix, another attempt - but he was saved because his boss checked up on him. This time around, while also being treated for his depression, they diagnosed him with Orthorexia/Anorexia with ARFID. His boss told him to get better before coming back to work, that there would still be work for him.
Years later, Phoenix still blames himself for his brother’s death, for not taking him with him - but, he’s learning to deal with it, while also recovering and bettering his relationship with food.

At first, it wasn’t noticeable when they was born or younger - it was usually deemed a baby / toddler needing their parents' attention. But, eventually when her parents would get back to their work when she was older - it was noticed. There was a period where the babysitter left Tink alone while her parents were on vacation. Tink was near the brink of death yet they had managed to feed themself and the doctors wondered why they were facing a near dying child when they’re fed and hydrated. Especially when Tink started getting better the more they just interacted with her.It was a medical mystery - and of course, her parents sued the babysitter.When Tink was a teenager - it became more of an issue, and they realised that the correlation was that Tink had no contact with anyone within 48 hours, and that is when they started to feel sick and dying. But the moment she started talking to some, even as simply as on the phone she started to feel better ; though the phone isn’t enough to fully help it’s enough to sustain her.Still, no one really knows what it is or what is going with them, but they make due with what they can. Informing those about what happens, and that they can just hold them or hold her hand and it would be enough to keep her alive.It’s also how she gained the nickname Tink despite her name being Tiffany which doesn’t shorten to Tink. Tink doesn't mind it though, likes it in fact.

the concept: the idea: person a is someone who can not go without attention or being touched for 48 hours without actively dying. like, you could be talking to someone else but holding person a’s hand, or having a hand on them or a just contact with them, while not talking to them and it’s fine. even talking on the phone is okay, but if iced out / or isolated for over 48 hours without someone to talk to or touch - they start getting sick

SUGARAmmie Sugar didn't have the best life growing up, her parents hated her - and that grew into her having a hatred overall and developing a mean personality. She decided to runaway when she was 17 years old. After making her escape, she came across Vixen and helped her escape the hell that was being made a slave that was abandoned on the home, the owners were not coming back.The pair found the Hellsner Pirates who let them join.Ammie Sugar, goes by Sug, joined the Hellsner Pirates when she was 17 years old, running away from home and after finding Vixen hiding away in an abandoned home on their island. Two years later, she and Vixen found two devil fruits ( rare they know to find two near each other ) and eat them, she ate a Black Panther Fruit. She is overally protective of her crew especially Vixen of whom she views as her younger sister.. I'm thinking that their OG crew was defeated by a pirate crew a few years before the Kid Pirates ( we saw this coming don't lie ), they are OG from the West, but were defeated in the South, their Captain was looking for something in the South, what - his crew was in the dark about. But, this left Vixen and Sug stranded on an island in the South - where they stayed until they wanted to go back out to sea again. Deciding to either take the next boat or just join the next pirate crew that came along - which happened to be the Kid Pirates. From there, they've set sail. Vixen looks like she doesn't fit but - she has become a fiesty one to be on the look out for.

VIXENher real name is unknown as she had been stolen from her parents when she was young. she has a marking on her back that bares the mark of her owners who only ever referred to her as 'girl' 'the help', ate the Fox Fruit - which is ironic as Sug named them Vixen two years prior upon rescuing her and they fled to the Pirate who, unknown to them had slaughtered Vixen's owners.

adopted into a white family who gave their kids not usual names to make their kids stand out, but all their kids are adopted and aren't white either. , her adoptive parents wanted to give that whole white saviour thing like 'we saved these kids' type deal, relatively wealthy hence being able to adopt the kids from other countries without too much hassle. though, none of the kids were allowed to get in touch with their roots / cultural background. parents were subtly racist. so the kids formed close, and love each other very much and are no contact with their parents, now all are adults. lav def put out feelers for who wants to join a band, and this is how Unholy Martyr was formed. music has been her outlet of frustrations to her parents. oldest of three girls, was the rebellious type, didn't want to be put in a box by her mother, by her father ( who ended up passing when she was 14 l which effected her a lot bc she was close with him and he is the reason she likes metal specifically ), or by classmates / teachers. basically say 'you're this' and shell do the opposite just to prove you wrong. family grew up not too wealthy but made ends meet. but struggled when her father died, as they all had to adjust to that. mary got small paid under the table jobs to help pay the bills that were packing up. she got into guitar from wanting to learn the songs she nad her father would listen too. she had got her first guitar when she was 10 as a christmas present, it waas her only gift that year, but that didn[t matter bc she had it.

Born to Alexander & Jane Wright, alongside his twin Jules. Living pretty cosy as a baby and toddler. He loved his family back then But school was were the pressure of being perfect started to show it’s head. To be like his older sister, comments were constantly made or to be more like his father as the older he got. His father trying to tell him all about the family business and try and get Alexander interested in it - he just was not. Which essentially caused stress in him, because he wasn’t living up to what his parents wanted him to be.In the years, he slowly started withdrawing himself from his parents and older sister, and eventually slightly with Jules, his twin but not too much. By the age of thirteen he was wearing long sleeves constantly due to his self harm that he picked up, and then - one day when he was fourteen, he downed some of pills with some of his father’s alcohol, as he thought the only way to get rid of all this pressure was for him to not be there - so he tried to kill himself one day after school.Jules was the one to find Alexander and call 911, which had Jules arrived ten minutes later, Alexander would not have made it. He spent six months in a Psych Ward & was officially diagnosed with Major Depression. During that time, his parents and Kayley ( older sister ) only visited every two weeks, Jules visited often.High school was a rough place for Alexander, with people knowing about his attempt and treating him differently or like he was fragile, or teachers constantly bringing up Kayley and comparing him to her. Teachers either compared him to his sister, or would look at him with pity. He hated it.Sixteen years old, and Alexander runs away from home - with a single note left behind. He had made it to the next state over, and lived on the streets for a month before he was found by cops and was brought back to his family. Born Brentan Henner to Manson and Jenifier Henner who were, let’s just say money hungry and grabbed at the opportunity to thrust their child into the limelight, and bring in the money.He was four years old when he first started acting because his parents wanted him too. It made his parents happy, so he didn’t care. Nor did he really understand - he just did as he was told.
Six years old was when things started to turn bad for Harlow because there was a director, Robbie Upton that took a very special interest in him, and asked him to do things that an adult had no business asking a six year old to do.
Harlow never felt right with it, and told his parents about what had happened between him and Robbie and that he didn’t like it, but his parents told him to ‘Suck it up Brentan. You do everything he says.’

He hated it, and hated that his parents would often say yes to a lot of Robbie’s works, even though he didn’t want to work with him anymore. He had no choice, his parents made them for him. Pretty much every other day after working, Robbie would ‘take him home’ only to take him to his own home and do what he wanted with Harlow, as his parents didn’t care because as long as they were getting money - they didn’t care what happened to their son.

Nine years old, and he was working on a project that wasn’t Robbie’s for once, and there was this older actress, Sheri Parish who had taken a liking to Harlow, and would spend a lot of her time with him when they weren’t doing scenes. She was so nice, that when she had a party and invited him and his parents over he was excited for it - but, she had pulled him aside into a bedroom and made moves on him.

With his past experience of telling his parents, he knew that this too he couldn’t tell his parents and would have to deal with it. And, by this time he’s come to realize that this must be what the industry is like.

Sheri hung around long after the film had been shot, and she was cast in his next film too by Robbie. Harlow’s mental health was not going great. He was hating himself, hating the things he had to do to keep his parents happy, to keep Sheri and Robbie happy. Robbie and Sheri eventually started dating, and Harlow thought that this would be the end of them touching him and making him do things he didn’t want too - but, no. It just meant they did it together.
This went on until Harlow was thirteen and Sheri and Robbie moved to the UK. The day they left, Harlow felt a little bit of weight fall off from his shoulders.

His parents still made him take acting roles, and were pushing him to do roles that were highly out of his comfort zone.

Fifteen years old, he finds drugs and alcohol and starts to use the stuff because, well, it numbs him and makes going through his life much easier.

Rumours were always going on around about him, about him dating his female co-stars, about him doing this and that. He just, he really hates it. He hates this industry, and wants out but he can’t do anything about it until he is 18 years old.

A few months after his eighteenth birthday, he sued his parents for not handing over the money that was rightfully his.

Then, a month later - with a friend, jasper klaten, he planned to escape the town one way or another. So, they set it into motion. Harlow overdosed and his friend called the ambulance. If he didn’t survive, his money was to go to foundations that helped rape victims - none of it was to ever go to his parents, and in fact - Harlow had written out a letter outlining everything that had happened to him from the age of six years old until he was thirteen.

If he survived, the letter was to still go out alongside an official statement stating that he had died, as he was going to officially change his name, and no longer be Brentan Henner. And, he skipped to the next town over with what was left over of his money that he had used to pay off the doctors for allowing him to fake his death.

He ends up in San Diego, and gets himself a small home to live in. Eventually finding himself a job at the local diner near his home. He’s been working there ever since. He hates it when people compare him or say ‘You look like Brentan Henner’, the regulars know not to call him that or say anything along those lines as it makes him irritable.

Harlow is the worker who takes no one’s shit, and despite the harshness he uses when facing rude customers, is never fired because he is good at his job and knows how to play nice with the regular customers.

Harlow can be somewhat of an Asshole, but also nice - it’s just a matter of how you make him feel.

That he’s too broken for anyone to care about, so instead of letting anyone in, he’ll push them away when he feels someone getting too close, not that he gives anyone the chance to get close. He is someone who is very hard to have a relationship with.He is very distrustful to a lot of things, especially the world, which he is very open about. The things he hates he is very open about, and the way he lashes out to those who harasses others in front of him is him essentially letting out the anger he has at the world and at his abusers and parents out.Emotional Flashbacks are something that Harlow experiences and tries to avoid, he knows certain things can set one off like; parties, having a closed door when he sleeps. He avoids those at all costs. Though, he does get these after having sex as well - this is more of a self harm that he does.Due to him not trusting anyone, or feeling like anyone would understand this has gone undiagnosed, and he uses substances to try and forget or deal with the issues he has. He can’t see himself opening up to anyone about what happened to him, therefore relationships of any kind are hard for him to keep if he finds himself with any form of one.Harlow has and currently does experience Suicidal Ideation.HOLTON DINER

Tyson was born addicted to drugs as his mother was doing drugs while pregnant with him, when he had started to withdraw - his mother went to the doctors to ask what was wrong, and in the process lied about her last usage of drugs.Growing up, Tyson and his next door neighbour, Charlie became friends and were practically inseparable. Charlie was born premature to parents who didn’t want her. She was an accident baby, and they let it be known. Though, her parents would put on quite the show and pretend that they loved her to everyone else, but behind closed doors - they didn’t. Her home was cold, and always felt empty.Her mother was constantly cheating on her father, which didn’t matter because he was too. Growing up, her family was extremely competitive - and Sabrina knew this from such a young age. Constantly, she was put against her siblings and her cousins. Constantly made to fight them, and see who would win. It was like an underground fight club, people would watch them fight - would bet on them, bet on who would win. The thing is, the family were all werewolves, therefore these fight were very long due to them being able to handle a lot more.As kids, they were taught how to fight, trained and trained to take a lot of pain because between the ages of 14 to 16 years old, a werewolf’s first transformation comes, and transitions are not easy and are very painful.Sabrina had her first one when she was fifteen years old.Sabrina was sixteen when her cousin attacked her with his claws before throwing a bucket of water that had been laced with wolfsbane in it. Her family did nothing to punish her cousin - wolfsbane was a huge no-no in fights as well as using claws, and even though her healing is quick - it didn’t heal the injury on her face due to the wolfsbane that seeped into the open wound before it got the chance to heal.The wolfsbane had left her horrible and violently sick for two weeks, she could barely hold down food for that time, and feared she would die.The attack left her with no sight in her left eye, she has a bit of perception from it like a bit of shadow but not much. When she was nineteen, she decided to go no contact with her family, and fled to the other side of the country.She learnt photoshop all by herself, and decided that she was going to use these skills to help her pay for her bills.Sabrina doesn’t go out often, due to people staring at her face.

Marnie’s best friend, Hannah died on impact and her friend Axel was injured, and so were Rem and Marnie.Marnie and Rem continued to date until around the anniversary of the crash when things came to ahead with Marnie blaming Rem for not seeing the on coming car ( who was swerving and going to fast ) while she was drunk. Quentin thought his life was good until he was three and he noticed that his father was coming home less, his mother was slipping off into the bathroom even more and as her stomach grew.
